[Farmall] low ash oil

Anybody here a big fan of IH low ash oil in their Cadet? I've got a 2072 that has never had anything in it but that and remember several Cadet customers of the dealer dad worked at that swore by the stuff. I just ordered some from my IH dealer and it is over $6 per quart. I wish their was something cheaper that is just as good. Anybody here found a good substitution?
