Dick,

You might want to take a look at the 3 point hitch log splitters.
Mine works great and will work anywhere the tractor can go.  Mine
operates from the tractor hyd. outlets.

If you go that route (El Cheapo model) be aware that there are two models available depending on whether your ignition is timed with a cam/magneto that only fires on the compression stroke, or if the plug fires on every crank revolution.
