I would contact a Briggs & Stratton dealer.  Not a big box store, but a shop where they do their own service.  Have you looked on-line at Briggs sites?

Anyone know where I can get a schematic for a Generac control module CMA 
75596?  Generac is less than interested in helping on this 20 year old 
generator.  If I can get my hands on a schematic I can fix it.
