[AT] Winch Cable tensioner

Andy, the cables on big construction cranes are all rolled out straight and
allowed to untwist as they go on the drum. If not the load will spin around
when it's lifted.
Think about when you roll up a garden hose or drop cord in your hands by
pulling and looping it. You have to keep giving the hose/cord a half twist
to get it to lay in
flat loops. It's the same thing. Your cable may still try to bloom out on
the drum but it should help.

Interesting, I never heard of winding the cable on the drum this way. I did
fully unwind the cable then winched it back in with a 19hp Keck Gonnerman on
a 2 part line. It was not free to untwist as it went.
