I am waiting for the real answer. In the meantime, I was told once, that Harry Ferguson designed the TE-20 so that only a few
generic parts would swap with the 9N-2N. If that statement is true, the answer will likely be no. If we remember, Ferguson was
dissatisfied with the handshake agreement with Ford because the 9N/2N wasn't being made or sold in the UK where he was a citizen.
Harry had felt that the agreement had been that it would be. Supposedly, he started on the TE-20 design process before Ford Motor
Company notified him they were ending the deal. Does anyone have the straight story on that?

To my knowledge, the TO-20 and TO-30 designs were simply modifications of the TE-20 design to accept the Continental engines and
other North American parts. The TE-20 and 8N would both be one design update past the 2N. The TO-30 would be two design updates past
the TE-20. The 9N to 2N was more a rolling change instead of a major model changeover.

The question I would have is whether Ferguson got anything for the three point hitches that started being offered as an option on UK
made Fordsons.

[Eric Watness] Will a transmission from a TO-30 mate up to a stock '51 8N? The Fergie has a Sherman transmission which would be a
nice if it fits my Ford with broken 2nd gear.
