[Ford-ferguson] Transmission stuck

Disconnect the battery, remove the wire from the starter button, and 
pull the transmission cover plate (watch for the spring that is held 
down by the cover out when you remove it...) and line the forks up.

You might be able to repair the guides for the shifter by welding up the 
worn parts

I have not had to do this (yet), but from the ytmag and ntractorclub 
lists, not a uncommon problem
