Yes, I suspect Bruce is referring to the Sky Valley Antique Tractor Club which holds its
show South West of downtown Monroe. This show is always held the second weekend in August,
the following weekend after the Lynden show (Aug 1-4). It is a three day show held this
year on August 10-12 at the Frohning Farm, 19524 Tualco Loop Road, Monroe, WA. It appears
that this show may overlap a show much closer to you. The Olympic Peninsula Antique
Tractor & Engine Association (almost) Fall Show in Port Orchard

I have a listing of some of the shows coming up on my website:

 www.deerelegacy.com

and the Sky Valley web site has some also.

The Sky Valley show is smaller than Brooks or the Lynden show but much larger than the
Carnation show. Quite a few adult and kids activities including a tractor pull that is
fortunately now quite laid back. .

The last weekend of the Brooks show overlaps the Lynden show so if you want to attend both
the Brooks and the Lynden show it is wise to attend the Brooks show, the first weekend
July 28- 29 and then the Lynden show starting the next Wednesday through Saturday August
1-4. IMHO, the Brooks,OR show is the best in the NW, directly followed by Lynden, WA
show.

Then if you are still up to attending shows the Monroe show the next weekend or the Port
Orchard Show or both for a day each.

Following the Monroe show, there is a show in Union Gap, WA Aug 18-19 and
.................

There is a new show that I haven't been to in McMinnville OR Aug 18-19

Harvest Fest at Yamhill Valley Heritage Center, 11275 SW Durham Lane.

Old-time farming with vintage tractors & mules. Blacksmith. Sawmill. Parade of tractors &
teams. Steam tractor demo. Ag history & logging displays. Pioneer kids area with hands-on
activities. Food & music.

10AM-4PM; Heritage Center open Saturdays 10-3 weekly.; Call 503-434-0490

It is my understand there is an Antique Tractor Museum close to this and this should be
close to the Evergreen Air Craft Museum where the Spruce Goose is.Well worth a visit. We
have been in this area a few times and it is wine/grape country along with Horse country.
A very nice area to visit for a weekend. A very interesting drive to take is from
Wilsonville, WA to McMinnville through horse and grape fields taking in a few wine tasting
sessions.

I think you mean the Sky Valley Tractor Club's show out on the other side of Monroe. It is
in August. I will check with Ron for the exact dates and get back to you. Dean, perhaps
you have that info.

We went it was not the show I was thinking of just outside of Monroe. What is that one
called and when does it go? We had been to this one at Carnation a few years back it has
not grown any. Looking forward to Brooks next weekend we will be going down for Saturday.
We haven't been to Brooks for a few years also. Now that I have retired I hope to make a
lot more of them. Brooks next weekend and Lynden the following.

Bruce,

I used to go to this show but it is so small that it is hardly worth it.
Nice people and
friendly though!
