[AT] Belts?

This isn't a threshing machine or sawmill drive belt.   I have run 
crossed belt with laces for many, many hours, with a 10-15 HP load. That 
is far more power than you need to start a tractor.    Rubber baler 
belts will work fine, but it will still be cheaper to find an old belt 
at a swap meet or auction.  Perfect, long endless belts go for big 
bucks, but you can usually find a less than perfect 6 or 7" belt for 
under $50.   As long as it doesn't rot away, it will still last longer 
than any of our lifetimes being used to jump start tractors or maybe 
running a buzz saw.
