    John;

    Loctite and Permatex are now one company and combine the best products
of each company and unfortunatelly eliminated competition so prices have
increased.

    The Loctite 518 flange sealer/ gasket eliminator is an excellent product
to replace many gasket uses. My Case LA and S both have oil pan gaskets made
with this and never a leak from either. The 518 is an anerobic curing
product which means it cures in absence of air. Can be applied to a surface
and can set for days and not start curing till pressure has been applied and
air eliminated. Nice thing is that it will not harden in the application
tube and doesn't even need to be capped.

            Gene
