 Quite interesting if you follow the link to a side by side comparison. I 
think I broke every one of the current rules. I was the designated driver 
for moving machinery on the highway-except the combine. I suppose one of the 
hired hands would have done it but I didn't have a license to drive the 
truck. I don't even want to discuss the rules we broke concerning 
pesticides! Fortunately tobacco farming today doesn't use many young people 
for laborers. When I was a teenager farmers dreaded school starting because 
all the help vanished! My personal favorite is wanting to outlaw the use of 
cell-phones while driving a tractor. Yet you can talk all you want on it 
while driving to and from to the farm in your car.

I'm glad this was posted as I had no idea about the current restrictions. 
I'll have to keep that in mind when wanting to use kids other than mine for 
labor.
