Do you have pavement?  The dual round ring chains like log skidders use 
seem to be the most aggressive, but if you have pagement, it may damage 
it.  For ag tires and more normal chains, you need the kind that have 2 
bars linked together, otherwise most of your chains end up in the tread 
groves.

I was in the same boat, but got a smaller 4WD Kubota for snow.  But a 
year ago, we got 18-20" and it wasn't quit up to that task.
