Grant,  I'm from the old school of what can go wrong will go wrong.  If it 
was me I'd pull start it or roll it down a hill to start it until the 
planting is finished.  Let it run all day if necessary and tear it down when 
you have time.   Just saying.......

Cecil, that was my plan before I thought about the cultivating bars and the
challenges they engender. So that made me think about adding the hanging
lift from the shop support beam. Any advice is appreciated though.

Fasten a couple of Legs to the front half to support it near where you
are splitting the tractor.  Or fasten a long piece of channel iron under
the front frame and block it up about 2 ft out on each side of the
tractor.  The rolling floor jack at the rear will allow you to pull the
rear half away from the front.
