That may have been you, Dean.  I personally cornered the market of the
1951 model year, having owned a '51 convertible with V8 and three
speed with overdrive, a '51 tudor V8 with Fordomatic, and a four door
'51 with  inline six cylinder, three speed standard / overdrive. Then
there was the 1947 convertible and the 1946 club coupe.  Every time I
saw one for sale that seemed better than what I was driving, I bought
it.  I wouldn't mind having them now.
