LOL!  For me, the final straw happened on a Sunday morning.  We had fried chicken for lunch!

Oh, he was one of those!!!!  We had one when I was a youngster.  One of 
my jobs all through school was the chicken chores.  Many roosters came 
and went, but we had one of those sneak attack, jump on your back sort.  
My dad didn't believe me and I was scared to go in the chicken yard to 
feed them.  He scoffed at me and grabbed the pail of corn and in the 
yard he went.  In a flash the rooster was on his back pecking his neck.  
Last time that rooster did that.  He never hit the ground alive.  My dad 
said, "I guess you were right", and handed me back the pail.  We had 
chicken soup.
