Well looking backwards didn’t bother me much 30 years ago but it's a royal
pain in the NECK now.  I tell you,  blowing snow in that heated (and air 
conditioned)
cab, facing your work wouldn't be a bad job even for someone who is allergic 
to
ice and snow like I am.   Yeah I went back and looked at the videos and the 
one
working backwards is the one that was identified as the bi-directional. 
Once I saw that
it was articulated I wondered how I missed it to begin with.  Guess I was 
just so busy
watching the snow fly that I didn't pay attention to the steering.

Charlie,
     Only one of the videos was showing a bi-directional New Holland and
it is articulating.  The other fast moving son of a gun kid is just a
front wheel assisted New Holland.
     One year the cannery I was spraying for leased a bi-directional
Ford to push the sweetcorn off the slab into the drag.  It was
articulated.  I think that was in about 1993 or so and the tractor was
brand new.  The operator really liked it.  Previously the push tractor
had a large blade on the rear and the operator was looking backwards the
whole shift.
