[Farmall] distributor cap 'H'

Also worth mentioning that a '41 H would have originally had a magneto. The
magneto cap is different than the battery ignition cap. Know which you have
before buying parts. Same sources apply.

The easiest place for those items is your local NAPA affiliated auto
parts store. That cap was used on most IH 4 cylinder (gas) tractors from
about 1939 on. For the wires, just buy a generic "four cylinder" kit
that has solid copper core wires and make them up using the existing
wires for models.

If you don't have a NAPA store near you, there are dozens of on-line
vendors out there. Aside from NAPA, the next best choice is a Case IH
dealer. I happen to like dealing with I. Hoober (www.hoober.com> and
Carter & Gruenwald <www.gnco.com> Both will ship UPS the next day if you
give them plastic. Those three will be the best quality, but you will
pay a little more. Unfortunately, a lot of electrical parts for tractors
are being imported from the "third world" these days, and I have found
the quality to be marginal at best.

I guess I should note that there were two different distributors used on
some of the older H and M tractors - IH and Prestolite. The IH
distributor was the most common. Having a parts manual for the tractor
is a big help when ordering parts.
