Thanks Steve, mine is the 15th edition, copyright 1969.  I'm going to copy 
the one you sent to file.  It should be interesting reading.  If you get a 
chance go over to Wilmington DE sometime and visit the DuPont powder works 
museum.  It's very interesting.   They still have the old machine shop up 
and running with all of the machines run off of line shafts.   There is a 
machinist there who demonstrates how
the machines work.  The day I was there I was the only one in a crowd of 
about 40 people who saw it as anything other than a curiosity so I got to 
ask all the questions I could think of.  The rest of the folks stood there 
with their eyes glazed over.
