[AT] in cab refrigerators?

Some of the replies brought back memories of the 50's. We had a Ford 640
and then move up to a Ford 861. I also saw the glow of the manifold at
night. Shift work between Dad and me would keep the tractor in the field
most of a 24 hour day. When farming around the homestead I would bring the
tractor to the gas tank, gravity fill, and Dad would drop the oil on the
ground below, change the filter, add oil and use the grease gun about as
fast I filled the gas tank. Then back to the field.

Subject: [AT] in cab refrigerators?

Saw an ad for the newly designed Deere combines. They now have a
refrigerator in the cab. I think it is safe to say we just don't have the
caliber of men in this country that we used to. Either that or all the tales
the old timers told of 16 hour days and working all night in the fields by
the light of the moon were a bunch of BS.
