[Farmall] Repairing IH "flat back" lamps

This may not exactly what you are looking for, but there are 
instructions for replacing the entire reflector assembly with a 4411 
sealed beam lamp  on the farmallcub.com forum at

The 4411 is a 12 volt lamp, and if memory serves me correctly, I believe 
a 4511 is the 6 volt version.  I think a few on that forum have taken 
them apart and replaced the lamp, but the sealed beam is a better light, 
and very close in looks.  I have also replaced the tear drop reflector, 
etc. with the 4511 lamp.  You end up with a slightly larger gasket 
between the bulb and housing, but the results are a light very close to 
original that is much brighter. One note on replacing the bulbs with 
sealed beams, they do draw about one amp each more than the original 
bulb, so for long term use your charging system will need to be in real 
good shape.
