You may want to check into hardeners that can be mixed into the paint. 
They make the paint more durable and supposedly add ultraviolet protection 
so the paint doesn't fade over time. The only drawback with some of them 
is once you add them to the paint, the whole can will all harden in a few 
days. Some only harden after being applied and the mixed can doesn't. 
Check the paint can label to see if it mentions the adding of hardeners. 
You may have to use a hardener made by the same people who make the paint.
