My bet is: being a 1940 model, an electrical system was an option at
that point. Your tractor may never have been equipped with an
electrical system. Your water pump pulley should have an adjustable
sheave. That is how you would adjust the tension on your belt. Here is

Well the allis that has been gracing my driveway is in my line of sight
now that the yard is cleaned up. Have the mag cleaned up an it has
fire. The
carb is clean too an back on there. Put the radiator up there an saw
the
two holes to mount it up. Then it dawned on me. There is no generator or
bracket. any body got a picture or can tell me what tensions up the
waterpump
belt? I acquired some 10" wide wheels but the ones that are on the B are
only
