[AT] Talking about shops/sheds + (OT) Building Code Changes

Quite different in mandating new construction vs a retrofit.  When we 
remodeled here about 16 years ago we opted to update as much as possible 
to current code - now in many areas the house doesn't meet code and I 
suspect most houses of more than 10 years of age are not fully compliant.
