[AT] Edsel ranchero?

They would have made it if the young punk arrogant Pontiac engineer didn't
insult "REAL" GTO owners. When asked where the hood scoop, dual exhaust and
spoiler when they previewed the odd looking proto-type, he told a group at
the GTO Nationals that he wasn't designing some old 60s muscle car but a car
for the new generation. Well that lasted a year and they added them but it
too late. The car is ugly overgrown V8 powered Cavalier, then again that's
just my opinion. If they were smart and made a retro car like Dodge did the
Challenger and Ford the Mustang it would have sold like hot cakes. Then
again who has money to buy a new car 20 somethings or 40 somethings wanting
to relive their misspent youth.

Those Holden cars are sweet machines. You can get them with an aluminum
block small block Chevy straight out of the Corvette stable. The GTO that
Pontiac tried to market a couple of years back was a re-badged Holden.
