That is a big problem in the summertime. We added some lights in the door 
area that are on a separate circuit so we can light it up in the winter. On 
each wall we mounted some more lights to try to brighten things up.

By the way, did you guys realize T-12 bulbs are being phased out? I found 
this out when I went to get some lights to replace some older fixtures in 
the shop.
