Glad you found it of some interest Cecil. And yes, there are a few good 
uses for flax straw. For as long as I have grown flax I keep hearing how 
they are looking for new ways to use the straw and better ways for us to 
dispose of it and even make a little money from the straw. Certain types 
of fibre board, and of course linen. Unfortunately, there are no 
processing plants close enough to make it a viable option. As long as 
the straw bales have to be transported many miles to be processed, it is 
not going to work. And with rising fuel costs always on the horizon I 
think we will be seeing smoke clouds in the fields every fall. Or in 
this case, spring. Thats right. With last fall's late harvest, muddy 
fields and early onset of winter I did not get the straw disposed of.
