[AT] OT credit cards in the US

One other thing. A few years ago Lynn was in London and the bank started
calling her at home to find out why her credit card was being used in
London. I assured them that it was ok that she was there on vacation but
they wouldn't hear of it. They demanded to talk to her about it. I told
them I had no way to contact her unless she called me. They wouldn't accept
that. They were about to cut her credit card off. I finally contacted a
good friend who is a fairly big wheel at that bank and she took care of it.
My point is that Magdalena might need to notify her credit card company that
she will be traveling in the USA.

Has anyone checked for any password requirements that is used with the
new cards that have a chip in them? Some retailers who are set up to use
chip imbeded cards require you to use a password. They won't accept a
signature as it it used to be.
