Thanks Al,  I agree it's probably a bit early but I think I'm going to plant 
part of my sets in a few days anyway.  IF we get another hard freeze I'll 
plant some more later.

Not sure specifically Charlie but I think it's still a little early.

I have heard a great-great uncle say to plant irish potatoes on Valentine's 
Day.  I gotta ask my dad when it is time to bed sweet potatoes too, that's 
getting close but I can't recall the ideal time....
