Yes you need good brakes to steer though I've never used a set up like this. But from what I can understand the frontwheels don't do much good, kind of like when I was plowing at the neighbours place and got the loader stuck in the blade pressing it down so the frontwheels hardly touched the ground. Had to use the brakes to get back to the shop :-( Mattias
