when I changed the track chains on my D6 about 20 years ago, we would spray
penetatiing on the grouser pad bolts, then hit the nut with a chisel blank
in an air hammer, then use the impact wrench. It had 35 year old old
original tracks on it and we only had to cut 5 bolts out of over 300
I need to change another track chain on it, I have had the chain for over 20
years..just have not had the help and time to change it.
