[AT] OT big satellite dishes

There is a pair of smaller dishes set up at the Pacific Science Center in  
Seattle that you can talk in between. 
Only about 100 feet apart and probably 4 to 6 foot dishes.  The audio  
volume and clarity was impressive.
 
I think over the right terrain it could be done.  I know on some lake  
property I have it's at least a mile across the lake and you can  sure hear  
people on the other side under the right conditions.
