With my phone, I can record any sound as a wav file and turn it into a ring tone. If the phone is less than two years old, you may be able to do the same thing.
Enjoy, Joe

Subject: [AT] Stationary engine recordings
Yvonne, I don't know myself but I'll post your question on the Antique
ractor list, a forum of knowledgeable and helpful folks... perhaps one of
hem will know.
Gentlemen, any ideas where one might find a recording of a stationary engine
hat could be used as a cell phone ring tone?
Thanks--

    Dean,
This is an optimistic request but I wonder if you can help me.
My husband is a fan of stationary engines (we will end up with one in
he garage).
At the moment circumstances mean he cannot indulge this except he has
sked me if he can have a stationary engine recording as a ring tone.
I don't know where to get one from and wondered if you might??
I realise this is a bit random but the web offers us these opportunities
