[AT] Swathing barley

On this cold winter day I am looking back on swathing barley on a hot August day in 1988. The driest and hottest growing season I have ever known. Somehow the barley grew but it was very short. This was my first day in the field with the new (to me) Massey Ferguson pull type swather. It took a few rounds before I was comfortable cutting that close to the ground but by the time this video was shot I was rolling along pretty good.
