[AT] Sleet

I hope I'm not jinxing myself by saying this but I really feel that the
winter is now gone here. We will have more cold weather but my gut feeling
is that the season as turned the corner.
I have spring flowers beginning to shoot up. I pruned a pear tree Saturday
and I appeared that the sap had begun to rise. All I can say is, it's
about TIME! One more month of this Global Warming and I would have been
ready for a padded room.

Charlie

Once, just once, on the weather channel last night, a commentator mentioned
that the storm was moving faster than they anticipated. As result, the
expected records would not be reached. But of course, that announcement was
never repeated -- there's no news value in it.
