[AT] Tractor tire chains

I think it also makes a difference whether you have "On 4" vs. "On 2" chains.  Typical chains are "On 4" where the cross chains are attached on every fourth link of the side chains.  But "On 2" chains have twice as many cross chains, the chain is super heavy gauge, and it doesn't fall in between the ag lugs.  Of course, the weight of the chains alone is significant and brings its own problems in getting them mounted.   :-)  I bought some for use on the tractor at our church and use them on a tractor equipped with low lug high-flotation ag tires.  In order to keep the "missing" cross chain from jolting you every time it comes around, I had to add an extra cross chain at the connector link.

They aren't cheap, and you don't need additional wheel weights.   :-)

YMMV.
