Obviously they haven't a clue.  There is nothing in the serial tag that 
designates a Demo.  I had all the Demos at one time.  A "D" would actually 
mean engine tuned for 5000 foot altitude

Hi, I had a few guys come and look at the Cub today. They said that the
serial number should have a D on it? I didn't know about that, does anyone
else know about a "D" in the serail number tag? Mine doesn't have a D on the
