>From my stedies (wink) of several cases like this one leads me to the source of the "standards":   the large milk producers and chain grocers.   There is problems with bacteria at times so we do need to keep standards for the mass producers and I am sure that you would all agree to that... so the question comes from where do the lines need to be drawn?    The mass producers and sellers just don't want anyone having "an unfair advantage" over them, even if they would lose sales of 10 gal a week.... so my suggestion is its the corporate mind set using the buracracy to its advantage....
