[AT] Terrorist Fatmer Targeted By Fed! - actually the fight against small raw milk producers...

I rarely read the often inaccurate and very biased Washington Times
articles, but this one about the campaign against raw milk hits close to
home. There is an organized campaign against the availability of the choice
of raw milk in this country. The odd thing is that the "science" cited by
the FDA and many state departments of agriculture that there is no benefit
from raw milk and no difference from pasteurized milk simply does not exist!
There are some health professionals who sincerely believe that raw milk is
simply poisin and will brook no disagreement, but most have little opinion
and the research has simply not been performed. To market safe raw milk it
is necessary to produce it in small dairies and/or year round pastured
animals, because otherwise the concentration of animals simply raises the
risk factors for bacteria to a level that good stewardship cannot overcome.
We have legal raw milk in California, but even so the state department
of health constantly tries to shut the producers down. Who is it that is
pushing this? I am not a conspiracy type person, but I have to think there
is a relationship between the big food companies and the action.
I am a testament to the benefits of raw milk, it tastes great and is
terrific for teenagers! It tastes better than the pasteurized, that's for
sure....
