Well Charlie you have hit the nail on the head exactly. I can easily afford 
a new mouse but it is a 20 mile drive to the store. Its still a little cold 
to work outside installing the snowblower on the Cockshutt 40 so I'm putting 
that off as long as I can.With wind chill factors predicted in the -30C 
range today, plus a snowed in driveway, I'm looking for solutions that are 
right here today. I guess its a habit I've had all my life. And my Dad's 
too. Even when gas was 20 cents a gallon you did not just jump in the car 
and drive to town (12 miles away) for every little thing needed when 
something broke on the farm. I think it helped develop a self sufficiency 
and economy that has served me well. Maybe not as necessary in these times 
but its hard to break old habits.
On the mouse  problem, I think the spray contact cleaner might be helping a 
little. I might try a little more of that.
