Well Charlie you have hit the nail on the head exactly. I can easily afford
a new mouse but it is a 20 mile drive to the store. Its still a little cold
to work outside installing the snowblower on the Cockshutt 40 so I'm putting
that off as long as I can. With wind chill factors predicted in the -30C
range today, plus a snowed in driveway, I'm looking for solutions that are
right here today. I guess its a habit I've had all my life. And my Dad's
too. Even when gas was 20 cents a gallon you did not just jump in the car
and drive to town (12 miles away) for every little thing needed when
something broke on the farm. I think it helped develop a self sufficiency
and economy that has served me well. Maybe not as necessary in these times
but its hard to break old habits.
On the mouse problem, I think the spray contact cleaner might be helping a
little. I might try a little more of that.
Thanks for the suggestions so far.
Ralph in Sask.
