Now I'm rethinking this whole thing? Am I stupid to get a plow for my truck? Two reasons to get it 1) Would work better than my tractors 2) Heated cab.
Before my asphalt driveway when I had crushed stone the WD with back snap coupler plow worked fine. If it got really deep I would get out the D17 that has the Mcconnell backhoe on it, that used to push anything. Now with the new driveway the WD spins a bit with the old chains and scratches the driveway. The D17 without chains is useless, even with all of the rear weight. Are there chains that I could put on the D17 or WD that would not rip up my driveway?
If I do get a plow for my truck, will it work better than the tractors? The truck is a 4x4 1985 Diesel F250. My driveway is about 300 ft with half of it on an incline.
