Mike, My understanding is anything with a boom on it. By the way the B in as 
in 10B Bucryus, I asked a expert I know and he claims it stands for Bucryus, 
nothing more as they built machines in England thet had the letter of 22RB for 
Ruston-Bucryus. Now headquarted in Germany.

I don't know for sure, but I suspect that relates to those cranes used 
in construction of buildings, not drag lines. There have been a number 
of fatal incidents in recent years where construction cranes of various 
types have fallen over, and I guess the governments are under pressure 
to "do something" about the problem.
