David,  I know guys that are mechanics who honestly think that if the 
computer sets a code for, for example, the oxygen sensor that it is just the 
oxygen sensor that is bad.  They never check the output voltage on the 
sensor they just replace it.  Then the code sets again and they are stumped. 
They don't understand that some other component is out of spec and causing 
the oxygen sensor to be out of range and set a code.  Some of them are good 
guys.  They just don't know any better.  Some do know better and are crooks.
