Sounds like the Teflon IS the lubrication.  Sounds like the manufacture has 
taken a different approach to an old problem.

The reason for posting this question is since I've never owned one
before, I did some research on how to maintain a snow blower, and
every site I saw said to make sure the chute is lubricated. The
manufacturer is saying the opposite.  I was just looking for opinions.
