Emblem had black background. '45 decals would say "culti-vision",
McCormick-Deering and probably NOT have the IH. "Culti-vision" was added to
the decals very early and left on through the end of production.

Subject: [Farmall] Farmall A Hood Emblem and Decals

Hi,

My 1945 Farmall will probably be restored next spring, and I was
wondering two things.

First, the hood emblem currently on the tractor is completely silver-
not a lick of black paint on it. Is this the way the hood emblem is
supposed to be, or is it supposed to be black with silver highlights and
lettering?

Second, what kind of decals would a '45 A need? "Cultivision A" or the
regular "A" name decal? Is there a year where the "Cultivision A" decal
was stopped being used?

Thanks,
Ben Wagner
