This is just for fun, not one I'm looking at.
http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/grd/1744279051.html

1. Is this a 9N, 2N or 8N? I assume a composite. Note that it has the
9N type rear wheels with the 2N type hubs (riveted center) and the 8N
type (6 hole standard implement) front hubs. Note too that the front
wheels are oddball. A "LOT" of parts have gotten shuffled back and
forth on these over the years.
-
2. I have blown it up and shrank it down and can't tell but it kind of
looks like it could have a Sherman shifter on it or maybe it is just a
shadow? Those shift levers (sits just in front of the left steering
arm) are pretty slender. It is surprising how many I see on tractors
for sale where they don't mention it in an ad.
-
3. If "everything works well" why is it chocked with a concrete block?
:-) :-) Possibly the brakes work but he is afraid someone will
release them while looking at it. I have seen that happen.
-
If I had any interest I would email the guy but won't bother him since
I'm not buying.
