I've never heard those big engines Charlie but the way this 3-71 sounded was 
very impressive. The way the driver played with the throttle kept me 
guessing as to just when he actually hit full throttle. After listening to 
the old 4 and 6 cylinder vintage tractors pulling at maybe 12 to 1600 rpm 
this  2 stroke GM sounded like it was turning full speed even at idle.
