My tractor day was yesterday. I was moving a bucket full of dirt with
the JD 2010 and then POW!. One of the front tires gave up the ghost in
impressive fashion. The tire was really dry rotted so no big surprise.
Luckily in a decent spot for a wheel removal. Removed the wheel, went
to the local tire store for a new tire and wouldn't you know it half the
county was there in front of me. While waiting I got to visit with a
few neighbors I hadn't seen in a while. Made it back home, installed
the tire and delivered the bucket of dirt before sundown. Not the best
day but nor all that bad either.

Today I spent some time in the garden and running errands.

Maybe tomorrow some mowing.

I finished putting the left hand brake together with new liners, all cleaned up and everything. I charged the batteries. I was surprised what good shape they were in from the winter. 1.5 hrs and they were up to full charge and full amps. And she fired up very quickly!! My brake works, it is so much nicer to have some kind of brake. I took it outside.
