Check out the guy's youtube site, he has a lot of big machine videos.

My first job out of college, 1966, was at an engineering department
next to a heavy equipment dealer.  This was the early days of big
hydraulic excavators, and there were a lot of doubters, including me.

The dealer parked a big new Poclain hoe out in the yard, with the bucket
way up in the air, and it stayed that way for at least a year without
leaking down.  I suspect it changed a few minds.
