[AT] Farmall H wide front end

Very simple. Just block the tractor, remove the narrow front and install
the wide one. The wide front can be installed in two positions. In the
rear position, a special plate is neded to bolt the front end to the tractor
frame. This plate is not needed when installing in the foreward position.
You might want to be sure to get this plate when you find/buy the wide
front. One other thing, if your tractor has never had a wide front
installed you may need to drill holes in the tractor frame for some of the
bolts. Good luck. John

Subject: [AT] Farmall H wide front end

Hey all,

I am redoing a 1940 Farmall H that has a narrow front end that needs work
(wheels will wobble when you turn hard or hit a bump). I was considering
replacing the narrow configuration with a wide front end (if I can find
one). Has anyone out there done one of these with any success?
Thanks,

Pharmr Bruce
