[Farmall] "H" oil filter questions

It is a combination of age and heat.  Most filters do not come with the 
gasket, and it may not have been changed for 15 or 20 years.  If you 
continue to change it with each filter change, it will not be near as 
difficult the next time.

I do not know if you can get the spin on filters or not, but the gain 
would be small.  the partial flow design is the way the passages or 
drilled in the block, so it would still be a partial flow filter.  The 
next change will be much easier.
