[AT] D17 with front fenders

In my area we have always referred to the "crust" on the snow. What is really fun is having 1/2 or 1 meter of snow pack and not quite enough "crust" to support you. Every few steps one foot breaks through and sinks the full length of the leg. It can make "fun" walking.
